Samir Misra

Samir Misra is a seasoned retail professional with extensive experience managing operations and driving growth across various sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Retail and Country Head at Landmark Group since November 2020, Misra oversees Bahrain's largest retailer's multi-million dollar P&L operations encompassing fashion, beauty, footwear, and home categories. Previously, as Chief Operating Officer at V-Mart Retail Ltd., significant accomplishments included directing operations for 300 fashion stores and launching a successful e-commerce platform, leading to recognition as the world's best-performing departmental store by Bloomberg in 2018. In earlier roles at Pantaloons, Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd., Kaya Skin Clinic, and McDonald's, Misra demonstrated a strong ability to enhance revenue, transform business operations, and increase brand presence. Misra holds an Accelerated MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management from the Institute of Hotel Management, Mumbai.
