Jean-Jacque Vel, D.O. began their work experience as an Internal Medicine Resident at Palmetto General Hospital in July 2014, where they stayed until June 2017. From September 2015 to June 2017, they took on the role of an Urgent Care physician at MD Now Urgent Care. In June 2017, they transitioned to Lee Health where they worked as a Hospitalist until May 2020. Currently, Jean-Jacque Vel, D.O. serves as the Chief of Staff and Medical Director at Landmark Hospitals starting in January 2022.
Jean-Jacque Vel, D.O. pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Central Florida between 2005 and 2009. Following their undergraduate studies, they went on to attend the San Juan Bautista School of Medicine from 2009 to 2011, where they earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. Continuing their medical education, Jean-Jacque Vel then enrolled at Nova Southeastern University from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained their Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree, specializing in the field of Medicine.
