Thom Meredith has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Thom started their career in 2009 as an Emergency Physician at Lifespan. In 2009, they also joined Brown University as an Assistant Professor, where they worked until 2012. Thom then worked at CharterCARE Health Partners, Emergency Medical Associates as a Quality Director from 2013 to 2016. In 2016, Thom became self-employed and worked as a Management Consultant. In 2017, they took on the role of Medical Director at Landmark Hospitals and Physicians' Practice Enhancement, LLC (PPE). Thom's work experience showcases their expertise in emergency medicine, academia, quality management, and consultancy.
Thom Meredith completed their Emergency Medicine Residency Program at Yale University School of Medicine from 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, they obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Medicine from UMass Chan Medical School, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. Thom'seducation journey began at the University of Chicago, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from 1997 to 2000.

Landmark Hospitals
Landmark was formed to establish regional hospital referral centers for medically complex patients in need of intensive post-acute care. Landmark established its first regional referral long term acute care hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri in 2006 and has steadily grown to seven facilities in four states. Landmark is comprised of the six operational hospitals, each of which was built within the last eight years. Landmark’s seven affiliated LTACHs currently in operation are located in four states: three in Missouri, two in Georgia, one in Utah, and one in Florida. At the LTACH level, the senior staff is comprised of a Chief Executive Officer, Chief Clinical Officer, Medical Director and Registered Nursing staff. In addition, each LTACH includes nursing assistants, housekeeping, business office and maintenance staff.
