John Burrell, CPE

John Burrell, CPE has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry. John started their career at DL Poulin, Inc. in 1994, where they worked as a Project Manager and Estimator. During their time there, they managed various commercial, retail, government, and school projects, ranging in value from a few thousand to over 9 million dollars. In 2005, John established their own company, J. Burrell Construction, LLC, where they served as the owner and sole employee. John performed a wide range of construction tasks and was responsible for all office duties, including estimating, contracts, and project administration. In 2009, John joined Great Falls Construction as an Estimator/Project Manager, where they estimated projects of all sizes. John was involved in successful low-bid projects, including the Community Concepts Office building in Lewiston. In 2010, John joined PC Construction Company as a Project Engineer in the Special Projects Division. John provided hard bid estimates for public and private work and conceptual estimates for clients. Since 2018, John has been working at Landry/French Construction Company as a Project Estimator.

John Burrell, CPE has a strong education background with a focus on engineering and construction management. John obtained their Master's degree in Engineering and Science Management from Clarkson University. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Construction Management from the University of Maine.

Before pursuing higher education, John completed their high school education at Greely High School, where they obtained a Diploma with a general field of study.

In addition to their formal education, John has also obtained two additional certifications. John is a Certified Professional Estimator, granted by the American Society of Professional Estimators, which they received in August 2014. Additionally, they hold a Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License, obtained from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in February 1999.
