Business Development Team Leader For Central And South Texas at Landscape Forms

Melissa Henao-Robledo has extensive experience in the landscape design industry. Melissa began their career as a Landscape Designer at TBG Partners from October 2006 to May 2008. Melissa then moved on to work as a Landscape Designer at Big Red Sun from July 2008 to July 2009. Following that, they joined Sagebrush Landscaping as a Landscape Designer from July 2008 to October 2011, where they specialized in Xeriscape design and custom stone work.

In 2009, Melissa transitioned to the academic field and became a Landscape Design Instructor at Austin Community College. Melissa taught various courses related to landscape design and horticulture, aligning them with industry certificate examinations. Their role at Austin Community College lasted from May 2009 to May 2014.

In 2012, Melissa joined Pi Architects as a Project Designer, focusing on landscape planning and project management for high-end senior living and healthcare communities across the United States. Their responsibilities included designing and managing projects for memory care, assisted living, independent living, wellness centers, and transitional care facilities. Their tenure at Pi Architects lasted from February 2012 to August 2014.

Melissa is currently employed at Landscape Forms, where they have held various roles since August 2014. Melissa started as a Business Development Representative for Central and South Texas, promoting and selling site furniture products. Currently, they serve as the Business Development Team Leader for Central and South Texas, leading a team in expanding business opportunities in the region. Landscape Forms is a leading designer and manufacturer of site furniture in North America, offering a wide range of products for outdoor spaces.

Melissa Henao-Robledo holds a Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA) degree from North Carolina State University, which they obtained in 2006. Prior to that, they pursued their undergraduate studies at Appalachian State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. Their field of study during their time at Appalachian State was Photography/Industrial Technology. Additionally, Melissa attended Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, but it is unclear whether they completed a degree program at that institution.
