Christopher Yates

Christopher Yates is a Design Engineer at Landscape Structures since February 2021, specializing in the design of shade structures with a focus on manufacturability and compatibility with standard equipment. Previously, Christopher worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at thyssenkrupp, where responsibilities included product design and the use of AutoCAD and Inventor for creating drawings and managing BOMs with SAP. Prior roles involved significant mechanical design work at Trident Structures and TMAC Technologies LLC, along with experience in completion tools design at Halliburton and project engineering for nuclear power plants at Nuclear Logistics Inc. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington, earned between 2007 and 2012.
