Gabriel Shin

Gabriel Shin is a Co-Founder at Landscape since February 2024, with prior experience as the EU VC Partnership Lead at Carta from June 2022 to February 2024. Gabriel was involved in On Deck as part of Cohort 3 from February 2022 to February 2023 and served as Head of Partnership at VAUBAN, which was acquired by Carta, from March 2021 to June 2022. Between June 2021 and June 2022, Gabriel held the position of Venture Partner at GoingVC. Prior to these roles, Gabriel worked at Scotiabank as Associate Director in Corporate & Investment Banking, focusing on technology in the US from September 2014 to November 2020. Gabriel's background includes experience with private equity firms, asset managers, and payment companies, along with a strong focus on sectors such as fintech, software, data centers, semi-conductors, and technology distribution and manufacturing. Gabriel holds an HBA in Economics and Financial Management from Wilfrid Laurier University and has completed additional education at GoingVC and BrainStation, as well as the Canadian Securities Course.
