Richard Blackwell

Richard Blackwell has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Richard is currently the Head of Strategy at Landsec since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Corporate Finance and Strategy Director at U+I (U and I Group PLC) from July 2020 to January 2023. Richard took a break from work from January 2020 to April 2020 to pursue skiing and surfing. Before that, they held various roles at Capital & Counties Properties PLC, including Finance Director, Director of Investment, and Corporate Development Director. Richard worked at Rothschild as a Director from September 2004 to December 2016. Their career began at EY, where they were a Trainee Chartered Accountant from September 2001 to August 2004.

Richard Blackwell's education history includes completing the Executive Education Global Business and Politics program at Yale School of Management in 2020. Richard also obtained a BA (Hons) degree in Modern History and Economics from the University of Oxford, where they studied from 1998 to 2001. In addition to their academic degrees, Richard Blackwell holds the certification of Chartered Accountant (ICAS) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS).
