Hanna María Geirdal

Hanna María Geirdal is currently a student in the Department of Cardiopulmonary and Ophthalmological Surgery at Landspitali University Hospital since February 2023. Previous experience includes serving as a travel consultant at Icelandair, a specialized summer intern in the refugee welcoming team for the City of Reykjavik, and various roles at Skóli Ísaks Jónssonar as an assistant and English teacher. Hanna has also worked as a sales assistant for GROUP 88, managed the Icelandic artist GDRN, and held positions as a sales representative and shift manager at 66°NORTH. Additional roles include supervising the staff cafeteria at Landspitali University Hospital and educating youth on self-image and health topics as a peer-to-peer educator at Hitt Húsið. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Medicine from Háskóli Íslands (2021 - 2024) and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Service Management from Copenhagen Business School (2017 - 2020).
