Grant Matthews

Grant Matthews serves as the Associate Vice President for Career Technical Education and Workforce Development at Lane Community College, a role held since January 2016, concurrently filling the position of Interim Vice President for Academic Affairs and previously as Academic Division Dean for Health Professions and Health and Physical Education. Prior experience includes an Assistant Dean role at Moraine Valley Community College and various positions at Chemeketa Community College, where responsibilities ranged from program direction in migrant education to diversity coordination and student support. Grant Matthews has also contributed as a consultant for organizations such as the Oregon Food Bank and Americans Building Community. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Education from Oregon State University, a Master of Public Administration in Higher Education Leadership from Portland State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and Political Science from Oregon State University.
