Emily Maxon

Emily Maxon has extensive experience in educational program development and talent management, currently serving as the Lane County Talent Development Strategist since August 2022. Previously, Emily took a planned career break after 15 years in Argentina, focusing on personal and family enrichment. Notable roles include Director of the School of Business and Management at TenarisUniversity and Executive Director of International Programs at Universidad de San Andrés, where significant student exchange agreements and international programs were developed. Emily's career began with positions at esteemed institutions such as the University of California, San Diego and San Diego State University, contributing to multicultural education and international student services. Emily holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from Yale University and a Bachelor’s degree in Russian/Soviet Studies and Sociology from UC San Diego.
