Hussein Sayani

Hussein Sayani, PhD, is a seasoned expert in sustainability and climate science, currently serving as a Senior Project Manager for Sustainability Advisory at Langan Engineering & Environmental Services since May 2022. Previously, Hussein held the position of Research Scientist at Florida State University, focusing on reconstructing tropical Pacific climate variability over the last millennium. Prior to that, Hussein worked as a Senior Scientist at SLR Consulting, quantifying greenhouse gas footprints. Hussein's experience also includes roles as a Research Scientist II and Course Instructor at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where studies on historical climate trends and oceanography were conducted. Hussein's academic credentials include a PhD in Earth and Atmospheric Science and a BS in the same field from Georgia Institute of Technology, along with three years of coursework towards a B.B.A in Actuarial Science at Georgia State University.
