Maya Matsuoka

Maya Matsuoka is an experienced corporate communications professional currently serving as Vice President of Corporate Communications at Langley Esquire since December 2023. With a strong background in brand strategy and marketing, Maya has also held the position of Representative Director at Japan Expert Insights since January 2021. Previously, as Strategic Communications Officer at the Japan Association of Travel Agents, Maya successfully increased exhibitors at Tourism EXPO Japan by engaging with foreign diplomatic missions and business partners. Maya's early career includes translation work for Hokkaido University and Shogakukan Inc., online research at Corenet International Corporation, and event coordination at SunShineTours Ltd. Maya holds a Master's degree in Business from GLOBIS University and a Master's degree in Administration, Development & Management of Tourism from Sofia University, Bulgaria, complemented by a CORe Credential of Readiness from Harvard Business School Online.
