Jean-Benoît Pouliot

Jean-Benoît Pouliot is a partner in the Quebec City office of Langlois Lawyers. He specializes in administrative litigation and public law, particularly public procurement law and environmental law.

Before joining the firm, he was a researcher at the Quebec Court of Appeal and worked as a lawyer in the legal department of the Quebec Ministry of the Environment.

He is co-author of two books on optimum strategies for contracting by municipalities and by public bodies, respectively entitled “Contrats municipaux – Manuel sur les meilleures stratégies” (Wolters Kluwer, 2018) and “Contrats des organismes publics – Manuel sur les meilleures stratégies” (Wolters Kluwer, 2016). He is also the author of a book on the qualitative assessment of bids pursuant to calls for tenders, aimed at public bodies subject to the Act respecting Contracting by Public Bodies, entitled “Contrats des organismes publics – L’évaluation qualitative des offres” (CCH, 2013). He regularly provides professional training sessions in his areas of expertise.
