Gwendolyn Labarcena

Gwendolyn Labarcena currently serves as a Teacher and Teaching Assistant at McGlannan School since August 2022. Additionally, Gwendolyn has been a Literary Agency Intern at Langtons International Agency since October 2021. Previous roles include Patient Care Secretary at VITAS Healthcare from August 2021 to July 2022, and Front Desk Receptionist at Mayical Skincare from July 2019 to August 2021. Gwendolyn's editorial experience includes positions as Editor at Urbany Literary Magazine from January 2019 to May 2019, Prose Editor at Catharsis Literary Magazine from August 2017 to June 2018, and Staff Writer at Catharsis Literary Magazine from August 2015 to June 2017. Gwendolyn earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Certificate in Professional and Public Writing from Florida International University, as well as an Associate of Arts in English Language and Literature from Miami Dade College. Gwendolyn completed secondary education at Coral Gables Senior High School, obtaining both an International Baccalaureate Diploma and a high school diploma.
