Colleen Arruda is an experienced Community Outreach Manager at Ascentria Care Alliance, specializing in the recruitment of foster parents for children and teens in foster care. With a background that includes roles such as Recruitment and Retention Specialist, Technical Recruiter at The Davis Companies, and Interview/Match Support Specialist at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Mass/Metrowest, Inc., Colleen has developed and implemented strategic recruitment plans and effectively managed recruitment budgets. Colleen's earlier experiences include internships at United Way of Tri-County and Framingham State University, where skills in event planning, grant writing, and community engagement were cultivated. Colleen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts from Framingham State University and is pursuing ongoing studies in Spanish language and literature at the Institute of Spanish Studies.
