Roeland Hofkens

Roeland Hofkens serves as the Chief Product & Technology Officer at LanguageWire since September 2018, focusing on integrating advanced technologies such as neural machine translation and artificial intelligence to enhance product offerings. Additionally, Roeland holds the position of Investor and Chairman of the Board at Bluefields Holding, actively investing in focalX, a leader in AI-based vehicle inspection solutions. Previously, from January 2007 to July 2018, Roeland was the CTO at Westernacher Solutions AG, overseeing technical excellence and strategic vision, as well as establishing the ECM Business Unit. Roeland's entrepreneurial journey includes owning Bluefields, co-founding Amplexor, and holding senior technical roles at BT Ignite and EUnet Belgium. Roeland possesses a Master of Engineering in Computer Science from IHAM Antwerpen, complemented by earlier education at KU Leuven.
