Richard J. Martinez (RJ) possesses extensive experience in early childhood programming, community outreach, and leadership within Indigenous contexts. Currently, as the Early Childhood Program Manager at LANL Foundation since July 2017, RJ supports initiatives aimed at enhancing the well-being of young children and families. Previous roles include serving as the Early Childhood Program Coordinator at LANL, a Tribal Data Champion Fellow at the University of New Mexico Center for Participatory Research, and a W.K. Kellogg Foundation Community Leadership Network Fellow. Leadership experience also includes acting as Interim CEO at Santa Clara Development Corporation and various roles focused on student safety and community development at the Institute of American Indian and Alaska Native Culture and Fort Lewis College. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Administration from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Fort Lewis College.
