Director at Lanlink

Thiago Montenegro has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Thiago began their career at GTEL in 2002 as an Undergraduate Researcher, focusing on topics like propagation, microcells, GSM/EDGE, and RMM. In 2003, they joined Instituto Atlantico as an Engineer through the UFC Master's program, working on DSP firmware development using C for Intelbras's DECT phone team.

From 2004 to 2008, Montenegro served as a Product Manager (Storage & RISC) at Lanlink, where they were responsible for project design and specification, customer presentations, and internal training related to storage, RISC servers, high availability, consolidation, and virtualization. Thiago achieved top performance in IBM Top Gun training courses during this time.

Montenegro went on to become a Technical Business Manager at Lanlink from 2009 to 2012, acting as the focal point for the Solutions Engineering department and managing relationships with tech partners such as IBM, Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, Red Hat, and Symantec. Thiago also oversaw Lanlink's PMO process.

In 2012, Montenegro was promoted to Director of the Core Digital Platform Business Unit at Lanlink. In this role, they managed product and portfolio management, partnerships and alliances, and project delivery for cloud, hybrid, and on-premises solutions. Thiago utilized technology from various partners, including Microsoft/Azure, IBM, Lenovo, Oracle, Huawei, Citrix, VMware, and VEEAM.

Throughout their career, Montenegro has consistently demonstrated expertise in technology, project management, and partnership development.

Thiago Montenegro completed their primary education at the Federal University of Ceara, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering between 1999 and 2003. Following this, from 2004 to 2005, they pursued an Executive MBA at COPPEAD UFRJ. In 2012, they attended the Directors Development Program at Fundação Dom Cabral.
