Mikko Laakso

Mikko Laakso is currently the Head of Communications at EVA - Finnish Business and Policy Forum since November 2023. Laakso has been a Member of the City Board and City Council of Espoo since 2021, representing the National Coalition Party after being elected with a notable increase in support. Additional roles include Vice-Member of the County Council for Länsi-Uudenmaan hyvinvointialue and a Communications Specialist for the Kokoomus Parliamentary Group until November 2023. Laakso has accumulated extensive experience in digital marketing and political communication, having worked as a freelancer in various capacities and served as a Personal Assistant to members of the Finnish Parliament. Academic qualifications consist of a Master's degree in Economics and Business Administration from Aalto University, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance from the same institution.
