Susanne Garber is an accomplished violinist and educator with extensive experience in music performance and education. Since August 1993, Susanne has served as the Head of Strings and Director of the Suzuki Program at MSU Community Music School, where responsibilities include coordinating various programs such as the Beginning Strings Camp and Suzuki workshop. Additionally, Susanne has been an Adjunct Professor in Music Education, instructing undergraduate students in strings. Susanne's performance experience includes a long-standing role as Section Violinist with the Lansing Symphony Orchestra and as a violinist with the Heartland Klezmorim. Susanne has contributed to music education as a faculty member at Blue Lake Suzuki Family Camp and previously taught at Albion College and Jackson Symphony Orchestra. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Musical Arts from Michigan State University, a Master of Music from Florida State University, and a Bachelor of Music from Boston University. Susanne is a member of the American String Teachers Association and the Suzuki Association of the Americas.
