Alena Julia Cordes

Alena Julia Cordes has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Alena Julia most recently worked at Lantal Textiles AG, where they held positions such as Director of Design & Development and Director of Carpet Design & Development. Prior to that, Alena worked in a development role at the same company. Before joining Lantal Textiles AG, they completed their master's thesis at AUNDE Achter & Ebels GmbH. Alena also gained experience as a Scientific Research Associate at Hochschule Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences and as a Trainee in Quality Management at Tchibo Merchandising Hong Kong LP. Alena Julia interned in Quality Management at Tchibo and at the Institute for Textile Technology of RWTH Aachen University in the past.

Alena Julia Cordes began their education by obtaining a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Textile and Clothing Management from Hochschule Niederrhein, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. In 2014, they had the opportunity to participate in a semester abroad program at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Economics. Alena Julia then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Textile Technology at Hochschule Niederrhein, completing their studies from 2015 to 2017. In 2019, Alena Julia Cordes enrolled in a CAS program for Entrepreneurial Leadership at the University of Bern, completing it in 2020.
