John Spinosa

John Spinosa has been working in the medical field since 1993. John has held various positions, including Member of the College of American Pathologists (CAP) since 1993, Pathologist at Scripps La Jolla since 1993, Chief Medical Officer at San Diego Blood Bank since 2017, Cofounder at Lexent Bio since 2016, Chief Pathologist at Agilent Technologies since 2019, Chief Medical Consultant at Lantana Consulting Group since 2020, Owner at JCS Consulting LLC since 2020, and Chief Medical Officer at both SimplSEQ and Murrieta Genomics since 2020 and 2021, respectively. In June 2020, Lexent Bio was acquired by Foundation Medicine.

John Spinosa completed their Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Claremont McKenna College in 1980. John then went on to obtain their MD from the University of California, San Diego - School of Medicine in 1987, and later obtained their PhD in Molecular Pathology from the same school in 1988.
