Alex Barnes

Alex Barnes is the Co-Founder & CEO of Lanterne, a company that uses data science to enhance operational excellence for micromobility companies. Alex started this role in January 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Analyst - Asia Pacific at IHS Markit from July 2016 to September 2019. Before that, they served as an Analyst at the Department of Defence from February 2011 to August 2015. Additionally, they were an Oxford Foundry Student Fellow at Oxford Foundry from October 2019 to October 2020.

Alex Barnes has pursued a diverse education, with a focus on international development, conflict studies, and international relations.
