Tapio Lahti

Tapio Lahti is a seasoned agronomy and business development expert with extensive experience in the agricultural sector. Currently serving as Tutkimuspäällikkö at Lantmännen Agro since October 2023, Tapio has held the position of Senior Business Development Manager at Yara Suomi Oy since October 2017, focusing on high-value specialty crops and circular products. Previously, Tapio worked as Chief Agronomist at Yara East Europe, overseeing crop nutrition development in 12 CIS and 5 East European countries. Additional roles include serving as Senior Officer at the Finnish Food Safety Authority Evira, where Tapio directed the Plant Breeders Rights office, and Research Director at Kesko Oyj, managing agricultural research initiatives.
