Ishani Patel has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Ishani co-founded Lantum in 2011, an NHS Innovation Accelerator company. Ishani served as a General Practitioner at Wembley Park Medical Centre starting from January 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Clinical Lead at NW London NHS Collaborative CCGs from April 2019. Ishani also held the position of EHub and Extended Access GP lead at Harness Care Network Federation from January 2019 to September 2022. Moreover, Ishani Patel worked as a Mentor at the Royal College of General Practitioners from October 2018 to April 2020 and as a GP adviser at RM Partners Accountable Cancer Network from April 2018 to March 2019. In addition, they served as a GP at Lonsdale Medical Centre from November 2013 to August 2018. Ishani also held the role of Cancer lead at NHS England from an unspecified start date to April 2018. Lastly, they were a Clinical Lead at the Royal College of General Practitioners from July 2015 to April 2016.

Ishani Patel completed their undergraduate education between 1999 and 2005 at King's College London, where they obtained a MBBS BSc in Medicine. In 2017, they attended Harvard University for a brief period to pursue a field of study in Medical education leadership and innovation. Following that, they enrolled at the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School from 2018 to 2020, earning an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management, General.
