Andreas Harwardt

Andreas Harwardt is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Head of Manufacturing Excellence at LANXESS since July 2022. Prior to this role, Andreas was the Head of Global Technology and Innovation Americas at LANXESS from January 2019 to June 2022. Beginning in July 2013, Andreas worked at LANXESS as a Prozessingenieur, focusing on process development and simulation. Before joining LANXESS, Andreas held the position of Oberingenieur at Aachener Verfahrenstechnik - Prozesstechnik from July 2007 to July 2013, specializing in the development of biofuels. Academic credentials include a Dr.-Ing. in Verfahrenstechnik from RWTH Aachen University, along with degrees in Chemical Engineering and Maschinenbau from Carnegie Mellon University and RWTH Aachen University, respectively.
