Armando Dente

Armando Dente trained as an electronics technician for energy systems at the Fürst Leopold mine in Dorsten. From 2001 to 2002 employed as an electrician at the Lippe mine. During this time volunteered as a youth and trainee representative (1998 to 2004, from 2002 freelance JAV chairman). From 2004 to 2006 worked in the press and public relations department of the Lippe mine.

From October 2007 to August 2008 successfully completed the general studies of the European Academy of Labor at the Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe University in Frankfurt.

Employed as trade union secretary of IG BCE since October 2008. First as a secretary in the former district of Hanau, then in the district of Kassel and then from 2010 to 2012 in a project to develop new companies in the plastics industry in Thuringia. From 2013 to December 2017 worked in the state district of Westphalia. Head of the Cologne-Bonn district since December 2017.
