Katherine Golden

Katherine Golden has a comprehensive work experience spanning various roles and industries. Katherine currently serves as the Chief Information Officer at OEConnection (OEC), a position they have held since September 2019. Prior to this, they worked as the Executive Vice President & Chief Technology Officer at OEC from January 2016 to September 2019.

Before joining OEC, Katherine held leadership positions at Corbis, where they served as the Vice President Engineering and Enterprise Architecture from 2011 to 2013 and as the Senior Director of Development from 2009 to 2011. Katherine also has experience at American Greetings, where they worked as the Director, Applications and New Product Development from 2006 to 2009 and as the Tech Lead for AG Ventures from 2004 to 2006.

Katherine's early career included roles such as Principal at Tangled Web Technologies, where they focused on business strategy and product development, and UNIX Systems Programming Teaching Assistant at the University of Windsor.

Katherine has also served on the board of RITE Board as the Chairperson since December 2020 and as a Board Member and Committee Chair for the Governance & Finance Committee from 2013 to 2020. Additionally, Katherine has been a Customer Advisory Board Member at Rackspace Technology since 2019.

In their previous roles, Katherine has demonstrated expertise in global IT vision, strategy, and operations. Katherine has been responsible for driving growth and operational efficiency through M&A, leading innovations in enterprise search and new product development, and partnering with businesses on cost-cutting and growth initiatives. Katherine has also led efforts in application development, product monetization, technical due diligence, and integration.

Katherine Golden obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from The Ohio State University in 2016. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Windsor in 2003. In 2002, they also received an Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer Information Systems from the Community College of Aurora. In addition to their academic qualifications, Katherine has obtained certifications in "Communicating with Transparency" from LinkedIn and "Certified Agile Leader" from the Center for Agile Leadership. Katherine is also a Certified Agile Leadership (CAL) practitioner accredited by Scrum Alliance.
