Birgit Bierther

Ms. Bierther began her training at Bayer AG in 1979 as a chemical worker in the pigments and ceramics department. She then worked there in quality assurance. Internal retraining took place in 1991 and Ms. Bierther worked in the secretarial area of ​​today's Additives business unit until 2005. She has been a full-time member of the works council since 2005. In 2013, she was elected Chairwoman of the Works Council at LANXESS in Cologne. Ms. Bierther is also a member of the General Works Council, the Economic Committee and the LANXESS Europaforum.
