Catalin Ilie

Catalin Ilie is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales and technical support within the chemical and engineering sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Sales for Central and Eastern Europe, Southeastern Europe, and the Commonwealth of Independent States at LANXESS since January 2013, Catalin manages sales strategies and account responsibilities across multiple countries, ensuring alignment with business goals and KPIs. Prior roles include Country Group Sales Manager for Rheinchemie, where responsibilities encompassed promoting product lines in several Central European markets, as well as technical support and quality management roles at Rhein Chemie and Darmex S.A. Catalin's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in the Design of Advanced Mechanical Systems and a Dipl.Engineer degree in Mechanics from Universitatea „Politehnica” din Timișoara.
