Matthias Gotta

Matthias Gotta's work experience includes positions at LANXESS, ARLANXEO, Saltigo, and Bayer. At LANXESS, they served as the Head of Direct Materials in the GF Global Procurement&Logistics department from February 2023. At ARLANXEO, they held various roles such as Chief Operations Officer from January 2020 to January 2023, Head of BU Tire&Specialy Rubbers as an Executive Vice President in May to December 2019, Senior Vice President from April 2018 to April 2019, and Vice President of Marketing&Sales in the BU Tire&Specialty Rubber division from September 2014 to March 2018. At LANXESS, they worked as the Head of Phosphorous Chemicals in the BU Functional Chemicals division from April 2011 to August 2014. At Saltigo, they served as the Head of Process Development from April 2008 to March 2011 and as the Business Director of Pharmaceutical Intermediates from August 2004 to March 2008. Matthias Gotta pursued their education in the field of chemistry. Matthias attended the Technische Universität Darmstadt from 1990 to 1995, where they earned a Diplom degree. During their time at the Technische Universität Darmstadt, Matthias Gotta also spent a year studying at the Université de Bordeaux in 1992-1993, focusing on chemistry. Following this, they moved on to Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, where they completed their doctoral studies (Ph.D.) in chemistry from 1995 to 2000.
