Matthias L. Wolfgruber

Dr. Wolfgruber holds a doctorate in chemistry. For one year he was a research fellow at the University of California at Berkeley.

Dr. Wolfgruber began his professional career in 1985 at Wacker-Chemie GmbH. He held various positions in the areas of marketing, production, and research & development in Burghausen and Munich. Next to him was Dr. Wolfgruber for the Wacker Silicones Corp. for many years. worked in the USA, most recently as President & CEO. 2002 Change to the Management Board of ALTANA AG, Bad Homburg, and at the same time as Chairman of the Management Board of ALTANA Chemie AG in Wesel. From May 2007 to the end of December 2015 he was Chairman of the Management Board at ALTANA AG in Wesel. In May 2020, Dr. Wolfgruber was elected Chairman of the Supervisory Board of ALTANA AG.
