Nico Pfaffendorf

Nico Pfaffendorf is an experienced professional in the fields of controlling, strategy, and human resources with a strong background in mergers and acquisitions. Currently serving as VP Controlling & Strategy at LANXESS since March 2019, Nico leads teams responsible for strategic development and controlling functions within production, technology, safety, and environment sectors. Prior to this role, Nico held various positions at Henkel, including Manager M&A and Strategy, Integration Manager, and Manager Group Accounting, where Nico directed international M&A projects and prepared financial statements, among other responsibilities. Nico's career commenced at KPMG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft as an Associate Audit Financial Services. Educated at Cologne University of Applied Sciences, Nico holds a Diplom in Wirtschaftswissenschaften.
