Rick Coppens

Rick Coppens is the Head of Supply Chain Management EMEA at LANXESS since April 2023. Prior to this role, Rick served at Bayer from March 2020 to March 2023 as a (Senior) Manager in Strategy & Business Consulting, where responsibilities included leading consultancy projects focused on Supply Chain Management and S&OP, along with recruiting and training consultants. Before Bayer, Rick held various positions at Abbott from April 2012 to March 2020, including Supply Chain Optimization Manager, Team Lead Customer Service & Supply Chain Planning, and Supply Chain Data Analyst, emphasizing a diverse range of supply chain processes. Rick’s career began at HJ Heinz as a graduate intern and included leadership experience as Chairman of Industria. Academic credentials include an MSc in Operations Management & Logistics and a BSc in Industrial Engineering & Innovation Science from Eindhoven University of Technology, complemented by an exchange semester at Boğaziçi University.
