Sascha Pokorny serves as the Head of Technology at LANXESS since January 2020. Prior to this role, Sascha Pokorny held various managerial positions at Henkel from February 2001 to December 2019, including Senior Process Engineering Manager, Head of Demand Planning AT Europe, Head of Packaging Management Adhesives, Head of Machine Technologies/Packaging Machines, and Project Manager Technology Development. Responsibilities encompassed leading teams of varying sizes, overseeing global centers of competence for process technologies, managing demand planning across multiple sectors, and contributing to innovative projects such as the HELIOZ development project, which earned the Henkel Invention Award in 2006. Earlier experience includes serving as Head of Material Development at Van Genechten Nicolaus, where Sascha Pokorny managed international FMCG packaging projects across Europe. Educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from TU Dortmund University.
