Elizabeth O'Brien

Elizabeth O'Brien has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Currently, they are the Director of Engineering at LanzaJet since May 2023. Prior to this role, they worked at Accenture as a Technology Delivery Lead Senior Manager from June 2021 to May 2023.

Before joining LanzaJet and Accenture, O'Brien had a long history with Honeywell UOP. Elizabeth held various positions including Director of Field Services (March 2020 - February 2021), Engineering Senior Manager in Process Control & Instrumentation (June 2015 - March 2020), Services Manager in Process Control & Instrumentation (May 2011 - June 2015), Service Support Manager in Control Systems, UOP Process Information and Control (July 2006 - May 2011), Project Engineer in Control Systems (January 2002 - July 2006), and Field Instrumentation & Process Control Engineer (February 1996 - January 2002).

Elizabeth O'Brien also worked briefly at Allied Signal LLC as a Research & Development Engineer from September 1995 to January 1996.

Elizabeth O'Brien pursued their education in a chronological manner. Elizabeth first completed their Bachelor's of Science degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Michigan, from 1990 to 1995. After a break of several years, they entered Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, where they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. The duration of their MBA program was from 2004 to 2008. During their MBA studies, Elizabeth focused on business strategy, marketing, and international business.
