Flyn van Ewijk

Flyn van Ewijk is an experienced professional in the fields of sustainable aviation fuels and environmental management. Currently serving as Regional Director - Asia Pacific at LanzaJet, Flyn is responsible for strategic planning, business development, and policy advocacy in the region. Additionally, Flyn holds a position as Non Executive Director and Chair of the Sustainable Aviation Fuels Alliance Australia New Zealand (SAFAANZ) with Bioenergy Australia, focused on advancing a domestic sustainable aviation fuel industry. Previous roles include Director of Project Development at Fulcrum BioEnergy, where Flyn led the development of a significant waste-to-fuel biorefinery, and Group Manager of Environment and Sustainable Fuel at Qantas, managing the airline's sustainable aviation fuel initiatives. Flyn has a strong educational background with a Master's in Environmental Management and a Bachelor's in Aviation Management from UNSW, complemented by an exchange program at The University of British Columbia.
