Scott Roney is a highly experienced engineer with a background in process design and development. Scott started their career at Honeywell UOP in 2006, where they held various positions over a span of 14 years. In their roles at Honeywell UOP, they provided technical service and troubleshooting to customers, acted as a subject-matter expert for mercury removal, led low-cost projects, designed and executed pilot plant studies, and mentored other engineers.
In 2020, Roney joined PureLine as a Principal Process Design Engineer. In this role, they led all research and development for ClO2 products and processes, provided technical service for the Oil & Gas business, and conducted pilot plant experiments to scale-up new ClO2 generation processes.
Most recently, Roney joined LanzaJet as a Senior Process Engineer in 2022. Further details about this role are not provided.
Scott Roney completed their high school education at Abilene High School. Scott then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (B.S.Ch.E.) degree in Chemical Engineering at Kansas State University, where they studied from 1998 to 2003. Following their undergraduate studies, Scott pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering at UC Santa Barbara, which they completed from 2003 to 2006.
