Megan Vandehey is a professional with extensive experience in strategy, integration, and sustainability. Currently serving as Manager of Strategy and Integration and previously as Sustainability Coordinator at LanzaTech since November 2021, Vandehey's background includes an apprenticeship at the Chicago Botanic Garden focusing on urban agriculture practices. Prior to these roles, Vandehey served in various capacities in the US Army from November 2012 to February 2021, including Plans and Future Operations Officer and Company Commander, overseeing personnel and operations across multiple countries. Vandehey holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from The Johns Hopkins University and an Advanced Certificate in Sustainable Urban Horticulture from City Colleges of Chicago. Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Vandehey combines military leadership experience with a strong focus on sustainability and environmental practices.
