Carl Pronyk is a seasoned food process engineer with extensive experience in operations and project management in the food engineering sector. Currently, Carl serves as a Food Process Engineer at LAPORTE, a position held since January 2016. Prior experience includes working as an Independent Consultant and as VP of Operations & Engineering at Mazza Innovation, where Carl led the design of extraction equipment and managed R&D projects. Earlier roles include a Visiting Fellow at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, focused on the production of biochemicals from agricultural residues, and several instructorships in Biosystems Engineering at the University of Manitoba. Carl holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Food Process Engineering, a Master’s degree in Biosystems Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Biosystems Engineering, all from the University of Manitoba.
