Jan Ciliax

Jan Ciliax has extensive work experience in finance and leadership roles. Jan currently serves as the Group CFO for Lapp Holding SE, overseeing a €1.9 billion global business in cable, wire, and connectivity systems solutions. Prior to this, they worked at TE Connectivity as the VP Finance & CFO of the Industrial Solutions Segment, which comprised four global business units across various markets. Before that, they held positions at Dräger, Beiersdorf, Bosch, and Immobilien Kempers, where they gained experience in financial management and sales. Jan's career has spanned multiple industries, including industrial, aerospace, defense, medical, and real estate.

Jan Ciliax has a diverse educational background. Jan began their education at Johann-Rist-Gymnasium Wedel, where they earned their Abitur or High School Diploma from 1979 to 1988.

Following their high school education, Jan Ciliax served in the Naval Military Service as a Hauptgefreiter or Main Corporal for a year, starting in 1988.

Jan Ciliax then continued their studies at Kiel University, where they pursued a degree in Business Administration, specializing in Finance, Accounting, and Business Law. Jan completed their studies and obtained a Dipl. Kfm. or Degree in Business Administration from 1989 to 1994.

In 2004, Jan Ciliax attended the University of St.Gallen, where they studied Business Innovation.

In 2005, Jan Ciliax enrolled in the Management Program at Babson College, focusing on general management education.

In 2010, Jan Ciliax participated in the Leadership Development Program at The Wharton School, further enhancing their leadership skills.

In 2016, Jan Ciliax attended the Next Generation CFO Academy at Deloitte University - The Leadership Center, specializing in finance and becoming the next generation leader in the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) role.
