Jerry Woloszynski, PE has a comprehensive work experience history. Jerry started as an Environmental Engineer with the U.S. Coast Guard in 1994, working their way up to roles such as Commanding Officer and Capital Planner. Jerry also served as a Commander at the largest Coast Guard Base in the nation. In 2014, they joined Hillsborough County as Section Manager in Architecture and Engineering Services, transitioning to the City of Largo as a City Engineer in 2015 before becoming the Director of Engineering Services in 2017. Additionally, they attended the Industrial College of the Armed Forces at the National Defense University in 2008. Throughout their career, Jerry has showcased expertise in emergency management, engineering, logistics, and personnel support.
Jerry Woloszynski, PE obtained a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the US Coast Guard Academy in 1989. Jerry went on to earn a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1993. Later, they pursued a Master of Science in National Resource Strategy from the National Defense University in 2009. In 2004, they completed their MBA in Business from Saint Mary's College of California. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including Professional Civil Engineer from the State of Florida in 2014 and from the State of Alaska in 1999. Jerry has also completed leadership and diversity training programs.
