Kate O'Connell Oyer

Kate O'Connell Oyer has a diverse work experience in communications, marketing, and management. Kate began their career at Regal Entertainment Group in 1997 as a General Manager before transitioning to the City of Largo in 2006. At the City of Largo, they held various roles such as Communications and Marketing Manager and most recently, Communications and Engagement Director. Their experience spans over two decades, showcasing their expertise in different areas of the industry.

Kate O'Connell Oyer completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design at Youngstown State University from 1998 to 2003. Kate later earned a Certificate in Certified Public Management from Florida State University. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's degree in Strategic Communications at Penn State University, expected to be completed in 2023. In addition, they obtained a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in May 2021.
