Marissa Bournique

Marissa Bournique is an experienced gastroenterologist at Largo Medical Center since June 2015. Marissa has a background as an internal medicine resident and has been a student at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine from 2011 to the present. Additionally, Marissa served as a research assistant from April to September 2012 under Dr. Kersten Schroeder, focusing on drug docking and molecular interaction. From January 2009 to January 2011, Marissa contributed as a research assistant and laboratory manager for Dr. Carolyn Tucker's Family Health Self Empowerment project, sponsored by Pepsi Co. Marissa earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biology from the University of Florida and completed medical education at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine between 2012 and 2015.
