Yuchen Shao

Yuchen (Winnie) Shao is an accomplished analytics professional currently serving as an Analytics Engineer II at Lark Health since June 2023. Previously, Yuchen held positions as a Data Scientist at SurePeople and Fyllo, where responsibilities included advanced data manipulation, developing data quality checks, and applying clustering techniques to derive user personas. As a Data Science Intern at William Blair, Yuchen created a Markov Model and built a Multi-class Classification model to analyze financing trends, while also performing natural language processing and clustering techniques during a consultancy role at SurePeople. Earlier experience includes an internship at DigitalOcean, focused on machine learning and NLP models, and a role as a Data Analyst for the Rail Transit Department at Suzhou Academy of Design & Planning. Yuchen holds a Master of Science in Analytics from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in Data Science & Statistics from the University of Washington.
