Jack Michel MD has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Jack currently serves as a Strategic Advisor at RuralGME.net and as the Chief Medical Officer at Project Access Foundation. In 2013, they founded Larkin University, and in 2020, they founded Larkin Health System. Prior to these roles, they were the President and Chairman of the Board at Larkin Community Hospital from 1998 to 2020. Jack Michel MD has also held leadership positions in various organizations, including Miami-Dade AHEC, Miami-Dade Area Health Education Center, Centros Medicos Las Americas, and Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Jack started their medical career as a Resident Physician and later became the Chief Medical Resident at Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Jack Michel MD attended the University of Miami from 1982 to 1984 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology. Subsequently, they attended the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine from 1985 to 1989, earning their medical degree (MD) with a focus on Medicine.
