David Vilas

David Vilas is a Senior Scientist with over 35 years of experience in marine biology. Currently at Larry Walker Associates since May 2022, David previously held a similar position at MBC Applied Environmental Sciences from May 1987 to May 2022. David's expertise encompasses project management and specialization in the identification of marine annelids, along with extensive experience in the collection and identification of fish and invertebrates, conducting kelp and eelgrass restoration projects, performing bird surveys, and conducting water quality and sediment testing. David holds a BA in Biology from UC Santa Cruz and has completed graduate studies in Marine Sciences at Moss Landing Marine Laboratories.
