Sam Martens

Sam Martens has extensive work experience in the software development and product management field. They have worked at Larson Manufacturing as a Software Developer/Analyst since December 2020. Prior to that, Sam spent over 26 years at Daktronics, where they held various roles. From June 2004 to September 2020, Sam served as the Sport Software Product Manager, overseeing the technical product management and development of sports software and sports software interfaces. During this time, they managed a team of 7 developers and were responsible for maintaining over 40 different sport interfaces. From June 1994 to June 2004, Sam worked as a Software Engineer at Daktronics.

Sam Martens attended South Dakota Mines from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
