Jason Shilt has a diverse work experience in the education industry. Jason is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Sales at Larson Texts, Inc. Prior to this, they worked at McGraw-Hill as the Vice President of Sales Central Atlantic, where they managed a team of 6 direct reports and oversaw a field staff of 40 individuals. Jason was recognized as a thought leader and exhibited strong strategic thinking and coaching skills. Before joining McGraw-Hill, Jason worked at Pearson as an Account Executive, where they built relationships with customers and developed strategies for promoting territory growth and generating new revenue. Jason also collaborated on selling blended print/digital solutions and SaaS products. Jason began their career at Holt McDougal as a National Science Consultant, where they focused on creating sales presentations and providing training during school textbook adoptions.
Jason Shilt obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where they studied from 1989 to 1994. Later, in 2006 and 2007, they attended the University of Saint Mary, completing a Masters of Arts in Teaching.
